Individual Therapy is a process that focuses on growth and change. Talking about your issues and understanding your feelings paves the way to becoming more aware of the source of your struggles and painful feelings. This awareness allows you to perceive and create options in your life you may not be aware of.  Therapy helps to guide you into a deeper sense of intimacy with others while living your own authentic life.  I assist you to create healthy boundaries and learn realistic habits that will help you care deeply for your mental, emotional, and social needs.  I support you during bereavement and transition-related issues.  I guide you during the development of awareness and insight on any troublesome situation, while eliminating anxiety and stress surrounding these challenges.  The goal is to help you gain a better vision and understanding of your life purpose and place you on a positive path; everything you need to be successful is already within you. Our strength-based approach will help identify and utilize your strengths to create a strong foundation for success.

Holistic psychotherapy uses a combination of traditional psychotherapy along with non-traditional therapies to create a fuller integration between the mind, body, and spirit.  This method has been proven to accomplish the deepest level of healing, understanding, and self-empowerment possible because it focuses on the whole person.  Some benefits of holistic psychotherapy include healing from trauma, elimination of depression, decreased anxiety, healthier relationships, enhanced spirituality, speedy recovery from grief and loss, and the ability to clarify your life purpose.

Relationships evolve out of meaningful interactions with two or more people. There are many different types of relationships involving interchanges between two or more people, and any one of these relationships may require additional support at times.  The main goals of couples counseling are to identify the root cause of the problems, create streams of positive and effective communication, balance the stressors in your relationship, bring closure to old disputes, and to improve the overall condition of your relationship. Therapy will focus on specific issues and provide couples with the tools to communicate better, negotiate differences, problem-solve, and even argue in a much healthier way.  Most relationships aren’t perfect, but you can have a peaceful loving relationship with minimal conflict.  Healing relationships is about recognizing that the emotional and spiritual well-being of each partner is paramount, and that each partner must have a willingness and openness to change what is not currently serving them today.

Trauma-informed helps people overcome the effects of traumatic events.  It can be especially beneficial for people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).  Trauma-informed treatment integrates an awareness of trauma into every aspect of treatment while making safety a priority for clients.  By gradually exposing the yourself to the trauma or stressors, the therapist guide you into restructuring harmful thoughts and behaviors.  Between 77% and 100% of patients who attend reguar, customized trauma therapy session will see a reduction in their symptoms. Trauma therapy is for those with obvious trauma and also beneficial for racial trauma, people with a history of depression and anxiety, emotional trauma, or any type of trauma. Whether you're navigating past trauma, managing trauma symptoms, or coping after a traumatic event, trauma therapy can make all the difference in your mental well-being.

Family counseling, or family therapy, focuses on family dynamics and relationships.  The goal is to address psychological, behavioral, and emotional issues that cause family problems. I work with you to develop and maintain a healthy relationship.  The goal is to identify and address problems within the family which may include emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues.
